When we got into this breed...we went balls to the wall and bought 4
dogs in the 1st yr. We decided to plan a breeding after they reached
the proper age....Well we had 3. One was an accident, was planned but
not at this time, she was too young. Of the other 2 litters, we had 8
and 3 pups. In the 2nd litter we placed several with the owner of the
stud, 2 he still has and the others I was told were killed or he gave
away.
Now it has been 2yrs later. Our 1st litter turned out to be duds.
Our 2nd litter, 2 out of the 8 in the litter were pretty nice. Both
are on our
"Produced Page". I believe 3 weren't taken care of properly
at their new homes and have unfortunately passed away...We only know
where 2 are now.
Our 3rd litter was really nice. The only male or that litter was one
of my weight pull dogs and sadly developed Osteosarcoma (Bone cancer)
,and was put to sleep. The really drivey female went to a hunting home
and the 3rd puppy is still living close to me in case I decide to use
her in the future.
We have purchased a few more dogs recently and have begun our weight
pulling and showing career. ALL of our dogs have some sort of a working
title and are very close to becoming Champions. We have had a few leave
us early and they are greatly missed (RIP Babies). This is when we really
fell in love with this breed.
2 years have come and gone again. We have learned to be very selective
in our breeding program. With our next breeding we bred T & R's
Ruby (90% hips) and a great dog (in my opinion),to a weight pull proven
stud.We were able to place all the litter into really good homes within
3.5 months of age. The 2 that we kept for our own breeding/working program
are phenomenal.
To sum this all up. We are very particular how we plan our future breedings. We
will constantly be TRYING to prove and promote our dogs, and to hopefully
produce some of the best dogs in this breed. We try hard at proving
and breeding working dogs...and have them looking good at doing it.Our
dogs are proven working /show quality dogs, and also great pets for children.
If you think we can help you find your next new family member,Give us
